Changes to OKarte services

The Latvian Parliament has adopted amendments to the Law On Value Added Tax determining that from 01.07.2012 the value added tax rate is reduced from 22% to 21%. Accordingly, from July 1, 2012 OKarte will also reduce its rate.

Changes to the services will be valid from August 15, 2012:

1. An international call line Foreign Premium Rate Networks will be introduced;
2. The charging step for international calls for tariff plans OEqual, Omate and OData will be one minute;
3. The service OWeek+ will include 1000 units (minutes and text messages) to LMT, OKarte and Amigo networks and 100 minutes of calls to Tele2, Bite and Zelta Zivtiņa networks;
4. The service Zvani visiem will include 60 minutes for calls to LMT, Amigo, Tele2, Zelta Zivtiņa and Bite networks.
