Sending MMS from a mobile phone

In order to send an MMS from a mobile phone, you need to activate a GPRS data transmission, and perform configuration of MMS parameters on your mobile phone.

The easiest way to get configuration parameters is by a short message HERE(lv) or at manaokarte.lv. You may get the parameters also by sending a request message MMSP to service system number 1688.

If your mobile phone fails to ensure receipt of MMS parameters by a short message, you shall perform configuration manually.

Receiving MMS

If you have failed to activate a possibility to receive MMS on your mobile phone, send a message MMS+ to service system number 1688, , and make sure that MMS configuration parameters on your mobile phone are correct. Click HERE(lv), to get parameters. Otherwise you will receive an MMS at manaokarte.lv.

MMS fees

MMS service has neither connection, nor subscription fee.

Tariff payable by MMS sender depends on the time of day, when MMS message is sent.
