E-mail address and its identifier

In order to receive messages from e-mail, you need a special permanent e-mail address, which is as follows - xxxx@sms.lmt.lv. xxxx – identifier of your e-mail address or part of the address till a symbol @. You may choose the identifier by yourself or it may be allocated by LMT.

Combination of freely chosen letters, numbers or allowed symbols may serve as an identifier:

• number of symbols - from 5 to 20
• starts with a letter
• up to four digits
• may contain symbols: point (.), dash (-) and underlying line (_)

This address is allocated to new users of the service Short message from e-mail simultaneously with activation of the service, upon sending of a request message E+ to SMS system number 29319915 tiek nosūtīta pieprasījuma komanda.

This e-mail address is used also within the service Short message to e-mail - for sending a short message to e-mail, if only it is not specified that any separate message requires a temporary address.

In order to receive a new e-mail address, you need to send a request message to SMS system number:

• ADRESE – to receive an identifier of e-mail address offered by LMT.
• ADRESE vēlamais identifikators – to receive e-mail address with identifier specified by you.

For example, if you send a message
ADRESE smile, to a SMS system number, your e-mail address will be smile@sms.lmt.lv.

In case the address indicated by you already exists, t.i. is already used by somebody else, LMT will offer other identifier of e-mail address in its reply message. If you are not satisfied with the offered e-mail address, you may send a repeated short message and specify another preferable identifier of e-mail address.

If you want to change the allocated e-mail address without indicating any certain identifier, send a message ADRESE RND to a SMS system number. In this case identifier of the address is allocated by LMT.

You will receive one or two reply messages depending on length of your identifier.

Please note!
You will receive all messages to the last indicated e-mail address.
After change of e-mail address the previous address is reserved for you for a period of 90 days, in order you may use it in case of need. If you fail to request your previous address within a period of 90 days, it will be deleted and the same address may be further used by somebody else.

If within 90 days after disconnecting of the service you will send a new request message you will receive the same e-mail address as you had at the moment of disconnection of the service. On the other hand, if you send a request message on new service later than in 90 days after disconnecting of the service, you will receive new e-mail address.
