SMS about missed calls

You may receive short messages containing information about who has called you at the time your phone was switched off or was out of coverage. The short messages will contain phone number of the caller and time of the call.

To use service Short message about missed calls, you need not to sign up, pay no connection fee and no subscription fee. Everybody who activates OKarte automatically is enabled to use service Short message about missed calls.

Operator’s and User’s forwarding

LMT offers to use "operator’s forwarding" or "user’s forwarding". Choose the version that suits you best!

Operator’s forwarding – at the time, when the phone is switched off or is out of coverage, you will automatically get information about missed calls. By sending a short message, you may refuse this service and reconnect it.

User’s forwarding – you may receive information about missed calls also if you have activated unconditioned or conditioned forwarding to the service Short message about missed calls number by using your handset functions.

Service activity

When your phone is switched off or is out of coverage, voice message informs the caller that you are not reachable right now. If you want to inform the addressee on your call by a text message paid by you, please wait for a signal.

If the caller fails to wait for the signal and cuts off connection before it...

  • the caller is not subject to fee for call;
  • you are not informed by a short message on the call.

You may select the language of the voice message for the callers!

Initially voice message is played in Latvian. However, you may change the language by activating forwarding to another number.

29310040 – messages are played in Latvian.
29310041 – messages are played in Russian.
29310042 – messages are played in English.

If you choose a user’s forwarding, please activate the selected forwarding by using the handset functions.

Unconditioned forwarding – all calls are forwarded to the service number Short message about missed calls.

Conditioned forwarding – calls to the service number Short message about missed calls are forwarded only in certain cases:

  • when there is no answer;
  • if the phone is switched off or is out of coverage;
  • if the phone is busy.

Depending on the language of the voice message you have chosen, forwarding shall be performed to the service Short message about missed calls numbers – 29310040, 29310041 or 29310042.

At the moment when the user’s forwarding is cancelled, the operator’s forwarding is automatically restored (if only you have not refuse the service). You will receive short messages about missed calls, when you phone is switched off or is out of coverage.

Short message contains

You will receive one or several short messages, depending on how many callers had waited for the signal after the first part of the voice message.

Short message will contain the following information on each missed call:

  • date of the call;
  • caller’s number;
  • time of the call.

In case several calls are made from one number, the short message will contain one entry with a reference to a number of calls and the time of the last call.

There are several exceptions, when the short message contains date and time of the call, but does not indicate the caller’s number. For instance, if the caller has subscribed to the service Call Barring.

Attention! New information about each missed call is included in the short message every 15 minutes.
In the event the connection is temporary closed or the handset is out of coverage for more than 21 days since the first short message is received, information on missed calls are not delivered.

Activating and deactivating of the service

If you are willing to refuse the operator’s forwarding and a possibility to receive short messages about calls which have failed to reach you, or are willing to activate this service anew, you shall sent a request message with an appropriate command to the service system number 1688.

Fee for service

Users of the service Short message about missed calls:

  • are not subject to subscription fee
  • are not subject to connection fee
  • receive incoming messages free of charge

Part of fee for the voice message of the service Short message about missed calls after the signal is paid by the caller.

If the caller is OKarte user, fee for part of the message after the signal, shall be calculated according to OKarte tariffs for call to LMT numbers depending on length of the connection.
