SMS to e-mail
SMS system number 29319915
This is an opportunity to send short messages from your handset to any e-mail address in the world!
The short message shall contain:
- recipient's e-mail address or its respective abbreviation*;
- separating symbol #;
- subject of the message and separating symbol # - optional;
- text of the message.
* In case you present several e-mail addresses or their respective abbreviations,
they shall be separated by comma. Symbol $ or * may be used instead of @.
Short messages are sent to the SMS service system number 29319915.
Recipient will receive a short message as an ordinary e-mail message, where the sender's name (if used) and e-mail address will be shown in the line "From:".
Lūdzu ievēro!
- Maximum length of one short message, including e-mail address and subject of the message (if indicated), is 160 characters.
Exception is so called „related short messages". In case your handset supports such a function, you can send to e-mail a longer text.
- For sending of a message to e-mail you receive a temporary e-mail address. If you are a user of the service SMS from e-mail
and you have a permanent address allocated by LMT, you may send separate messages to e-mail by using a temporary e-mail address.
In such case message shall be sent to a SMS system number 293199151 (a digit 1 shall be added to the number).
- If you have sent a short message to e-mail by using a temporary e-mail address, the recipient is informed on his or
her possibility to send you a reply message within a period of 30 days.
- If you have failed to send a short message to e-mail address of a recipient, you will receive an informative message on failure.
Configuration of parameters
- Short messages to e-mail may be completed with various information - you can indicate your sender's name,
signature and reply e-mail address, as well as define maximum 11 abbreviations of e-mail addresses. These parameters may be altered, cancelled and checked.
- Parameters are set by sending a request message to the SMS service number with the respective full
or abbreviated keyword. Keyword can be written in big or small letters of Latin alphabet.
- You may configure parameters for sending of an e-mail from your handset in two ways - by sending a short message or in LMT web page.
